มี 5 รูปแบบด้นกัน คือ
1. ประธาน+กริยา
เช่น Dogs run. cat eat

2. Subject+Action verb +Direct object
 เช่น Bob caught me.

3. Subject+ Linking verb + subject complement( Noun or pronoun ) เช่น That book was mine.

4. Subject+ Linking verb + subject complement ( adjective )
 เช่น English is fun.

5. Subject + Verb + Indirect object + Direct object
เช่น She sold Jim her red car.

"Auxiliary,Helping Verbs"กริยาช่วย

โครงสร้างในการตั้งคำถามของ กริยาช่วยดังนี้
กริยาช่วย+ประธาน+กริยาแท้,กรรม,ส่วนขยาย ?
-Will=would,shall=should.. แปลว่า “จะ” ทำหน้าที่เป็นอนาคตกาล(Future Tense)
-May=Might ( might จะเป็นอดีตของ May)
***Dare that the girl go to be near a tiger?
เห็นเด็กผู้หญิงคนนั้นไปใกล้เสือหรือยัง?
…………………..
-Need we work to earn our livings?

-Dare she stay here alone?

-Might he have finished work when you arrived?

-Ought you to do it tomorrow?

หลักการใช้ adverbs and adjectives (Comparison)

หลักการใช้ adverbs and adjectives
(1) Comparison of equality
As +adv,adj + as
การนำสิ่งสองสิ่งที่มีความเท่ากันหรือเหมือนกันในลักษณะใดลักษะณะหนึ่งมาเปรียบเทียบกัน
My friend is as strong as a giant.
Her answer came as quick as lighting.
(2) Comparison of inequality
การนำเอาของสองสิ่งมาเปรียบเทียบกัน ที่มีความหมายไม่เท่ากันหรือไม่เหมือนกัน
Not so,as+adv,adj+as
Bicycles are not as /as fast as cars.
Oranges are not as/as sour as lemons.
She didn’t drive so/as quickly as usual.
(3) Comparative of superiority
การเปรียบเทียบของสองสิ่ง โดยสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งมีมากกว่า น้อยกว่า ยาวกว่า ..ect…
Adj/adv+er…..than
Or
More/less+adj/adv+ than
……
Jim is bigger than Joe.
Her mother is fatter than yours.
Adults are less energetic than children.
(4) Comparative of superlative
การเปรียบของสองสิ่งที่มากที่สุด
The +adj+est
Or
The most /the least+adj
………….
The Nile is the longest river in the world.
Tents are the least comfortable facilities in this are.
